"The first wealth is health"
Who I am and what I do
Hello there! I’m Keri, a registered nutritional therapist, offering support which covers a range of health concerns, including gut/digestion, skin, energy levels, hormones, metabolic disorders and chronic disease.
I take a holistic or whole-systems approach to your health, encompassing lifestyle and environmental factors, with a focus on the nutritional value of food.
I studied for three years and was awarded a diploma from the College of Naturopathic Medicine (DipCNM).
I'm registered with the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP) and the General Naturopathic Council (GNC).

I may take a peek at your tongue; and, be advised, I'll definitely ask you about your poos!
When you book in your appointment, I'll send you a 3-day food/beverage diary template before our consultation. Please complete this and bring it along to your initial consultation. This will help me understand your nutrient intake and identify gaps in your diet or eating habits.
Along with this I'll also send you a supplements/medication/ family history questionnaire. Please complete this and bring it along with the food/beverage diary.
If you have copies of test results, for example GP tests or functional tests (e.g. hormone panel; genetic test; or comprehensive stool test; etc), please bring to your consultation.
Lastly, to comply with legal requirements, I will send you the Terms of Engagement, GDPR consent and Privacy Notice documents to read before our initial, consultation and we can take a minute together to sign hard copies, when we meet in person (to save you printer ink, paper and time!) - one copy of each for your records and one for me, as your practitioner.
I promise, my nutritional advice is more interesting than the paperwork - thank you for signing!
After our initial consultation I analyse all the information that you've given me to come up with your plan/protocol. This will involve several hours of work, looking at a number of areas, including your vitamin/mineral status; blood sugar and hormonal balance; stress levels; toxin exposure; food/supplement/medication interactions (where relevant); tailored, healthy recipes; appropriate functional and/or GP tests (where relevant) and ensuring your protocols are up to date with the latest evidence-based data.
After our follow-up consultations I will, where appropriate, carry out additional research and, where necessary, alter the original plan - making additions or perhaps removing some protocols that haven't worked for you, or that you've completed and no longer require, depending on our discussion.
Your health journey won't be completed overnight, and I have no 'template' for clients with the same diagnoses and/or similar symptoms. You are individual and you deserve individual attention. I start from scratch, and work with you, with the aim of guiding you – not just towards feeling a bit better – but towards optimal health and vitality!
Not necessarily! Dark chocolate can be a good natural source of flavanols and magnesium! 😃
